Marisa Christiano, AAHCC, LE

Marisa is a certified childbirth educator , doula, and lactation educator.  She is affiliated with The American Academy of Husband-Coached Childbirth (The Bradley Method®) and Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA).  She has been teaching classes and attending births since 2006.

"Pregnancy is a unique time in a woman’s life as well as in a couple’s life. Giving birth can be a miraculous and life changing event. My life changed in many ways when I gave birth to my first child in 2005. I had never heard of The Bradley Method® before. When I spoke with my doctor about the type of birth experience I wanted to have, he suggested that this would be the method for me. We learned so much in our Bradley® classes and had such positive birth experiences that I just knew I had to become a teacher myself!  I believe it is important that a woman and her partner understand all aspects of birth including the mental, emotional, spiritual, as well as the physical aspects.  I believe that attending childbirth education classes is important because these things are vital to how women give birth but are usually not discussed in most birthing classes."

Our Business

We teach the full twelve-week Bradley^® series endorsed by the American Academy of Husband Coached Childbirth. Classes are approximately two to two and a half hours long, and are enriched with videos, activities, games, and visual aids.
